Vanessa Successfully Defends Her PhD Thesis!

On July 10th 2025, Vanessa Fortney sucessfully defended her PhD thesis.  She came to OSU with very little of knowledge of Inorganic Chemistry and over the last five years has become an expert in Germylamine chemistry.  Two full papers (with a third in the pipeline), four oral presentations at various conferences including two at the Canadian Society for Chemistry, and one successful thesis defense-congratulations!

Vanessa, Laura, and Scott attended the Spring 2025 Midsouth Inorganic Chemists Association (MICA) meeting held at Tabor College in Hilsboro, KS.  All three members presented their work.
